The Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) will participate in the 54th edition of the Brussels International Book Fair from March 13 to 16, 2025, at the Tour et Taxis exhibition centre in Belgium, CE Report quotes Agerpres

ICR’s stand (No. 227, Pavilion 2) will showcase over 500 books from leading Romanian publishers, with a focus on French-language translations. Visitors can purchase books spanning fiction, history, tourism, art, and children's literature through a partnership with the online bookstore diasporaciteste.eu.

Under the slogan ‘We Read, Translate and Discover Romanian Literature Worldwide’, ICR’s presence aligns with the fair’s theme, ‘Habiter le monde’. Designed by artist Marius P. Weber, the stand will highlight Romanian literature, art, and culture, supported by ICR's translation and publishing programs.

ICR aims to foster cultural ties between Romania and the Republic of Moldova while supporting Moldova’s European cultural journey. Additionally, as the current chair of EUNIC Brussels, ICR coordinates the participation of European cultural institutions, emphasizing unity and cooperation amid global challenges.

The Brussels Book Fair is a major cultural event, attracting thousands of literary professionals and readers. ICR made a successful debut in 2024, drawing significant public interest and online engagement.
