War crimes trial; “Kosovo should learn from Bosnia’s mistakes”
The director of the organization “Medica Zenica”, which operates in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sabiha Husiq says that four prosecutors are not enough, as Kosovo currently has, in punishing war crimes. She says that the state must create a safe environment for survivors to testify about what they experienced and for the perpetrators of the crimes to be prosecuted. In an interview for KosovaPress, she also talks about the genocide lawsuit against Serbia, for which she believes that Kosovo should learn from Bosnia-Herzegovina’s mistakes. Also, she talks about the experiences of this country in the treatment of victims of sexual violence by Serbian criminals.
