Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that the lack of sanctions has emboldened Serbia's aggressiveness. The head of government qualified the detention of Kosovo police officers and other citizens at the border points with Serbia as the actions of a mafia state.

Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca sent his Serbian counterpart his condolences for the tragedy that happened in a school in Belgrade and stated that to prevent violence in schools in Romania, working groups made up of representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Development are being created, which are working on the development of a set of measures to be taken in the education system.
