Kosovo Expands Sports Infrastructure with UEFA Support

Another sports infrastructure project is being implemented in Kosovo. The village of Baran in the Municipality of Peja is being equipped with a new training field, as part of the cooperation between the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) and the Municipality of Peja, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

This project is part of UEFA's "Hat-trick" program to develop sports in every corner of the country. According to the FFK plan, every 45 days a football field is being completed in Kosovo, creating new spaces for talent development and community involvement in sports, according to the report. The field in Baran has already completed the first phase of works, while the second phase - laying the synthetic carpet - will begin this week.

This project not only increases the infrastructural capacities of football in the country, but also strengthens local communities, offering young people better opportunities for training and professional development.

The Football Federation of Kosovo has announced that it will continue at this pace to fulfill its strategic objective: the modernization of sports infrastructure throughout the territory of Kosovo.
