Raphinha future at Barcelona in doubt

The future of Brazilian winger Raphinha at Barcelona has been thrown into doubt, despite him being one of the club’s most important players.

The winger continues to attract strong interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, which are eager to make him another global football star to join their rapidly growing league, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Al-Hilal has been the Saudi club most strongly linked with the Brazilian, and recent reports from Brazil even claimed that Raphinha would begin negotiations with the club after the conclusion of the World Cup.

However, a move to Al-Hilal has become more complicated, as the Saudi side is also attempting to sign Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian forward is currently a free agent after his contract with Liverpool expired. He has reportedly been offered the same terms as Raphinha—a three-year contract worth €20 million per year. If Al-Hilal reaches an agreement with Salah, the Brazilian will no longer be considered an option for the club.

Meanwhile, Raphinha remains fully focused on his recovery. He is reportedly undergoing up to three training sessions per day to ensure he is fit and available to represent Brazil.
