Bulgarian driver Nikola Tsolov of Campos Racing claimed victory in Sunday's Formula 2 feature race in Austria, marking the sixth round of the season.

The Sofia-born driver started from third on the grid, quickly moved into the lead and delivered a consistent performance to secure his third Sunday race victory of the season and his fourth win overall, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.

Tsolov previously won feature races in Australia, Monaco and Austria, while his fourth victory came in the sprint race in Miami.

Shortly after the start, the Bulgarian overtook a Rodin Motorsport driver to move up one position before passing his Campos Racing teammate Noel Leon a few corners later to take the race lead.

Tsolov crossed the finish line first after 40 laps, ahead of Italy's Gabriele Mini and Germany's Oliver Goethe, both representing MP Motorsport.

With the victory, Tsolov increased his tally to 106 points in the overall championship standings, reducing the gap to championship leader Gabriele Mini to just two points.
