The Ministry of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sports of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde, in cooperation with the Pedagogical Institute, organized the event "Golden Traces on the Road to Success" last night at the Gun-Gor Park plateau in Goražde.
The event featured a ceremonial presentation of awards and recognitions to the most successful students and teachers from primary and secondary schools across the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde for the 2025/2026 school year, CE Report informs via the Ministry of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sports of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde's official website.
The traditional event was organized to recognize and highlight the achievements of students and educators whose dedication, hard work, and outstanding results marked the past academic year. As in previous years, the occasion was symbolically marked by the release of lanterns, representing knowledge, hope, and the bright future that young people are building through their achievements.
During the ceremony, awards and recognitions were presented to numerous students and teachers. In addition to the top students of primary and secondary schools, honors were also given to students who achieved notable results at cantonal, federation-level, and state competitions, as well as to the most successful teams whose collective efforts and dedication led to significant accomplishments.
Addressing the audience, Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Minister of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sports, Adisa Alikadić-Herić, congratulated all awarded students and teachers on their achievements.
“Tonight, we recognize those who, through their work, knowledge, and dedication, demonstrate that education and genuine values are the foundation of all progress. We congratulate the best students and students of the generation of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde on their achievements. At a time when success is often measured by fleeting things, our award-winning students and teachers send a strong message that hard work pays off and that knowledge always retains its value. We are proud of their results because they are a source of pride for their families, schools, the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are the best proof that we have generations capable of building a better future. May your golden traces on the road to success serve as a guide and inspiration for all who follow,” Minister Alikadić-Herić said.
The ceremony was further enriched by performances and musical interpretations by students of the Avdo Smailović Primary Music School, whose talent and performances made a special contribution to the evening dedicated to knowledge, achievement, and young people who represent the best ambassadors of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde.
