Schengen travel rules change
The European Parliament voted to approve a reform of the EU’s visa suspension mechanism.
The updated rules apply to 61 countries whose citizens can currently enter the Schengen area without a visa, CE Report quotes FENA.
These travelers are allowed to stay for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
The reform aims to make it easier for the EU to respond to migration or security concerns related to visa-free travel.
