Moldova seeks new investment opportunities in China's Guangdong
The Republic of Moldova is strengthening its relations with one of China’s most developed regions. Moldova’s Ambassador to China, Petru Frunze, took part in a working visit to Guangdong Province, organized at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
The Moldovan diplomat was part of a delegation of more than 50 ambassadors and diplomatic representatives accredited in China. The visit included meetings and events organized by the leadership of Guangdong Province and the municipal authorities of Guangzhou, with the participation of business community representatives, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
According to Ambassador Petru Frunze, the visit provided important opportunities for establishing new contacts with local authorities and the regional business community.
“The visit provided a valuable opportunity to establish new contacts with representatives of local authorities and the business community. These relationships will contribute to strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Guangdong Province, including through the promotion of local-level partnerships, attracting investments, and supporting the development of economic and trade relations for the benefit of Moldova’s business environment,” the ambassador said.
During the discussions, participants were informed about measures implemented by Chinese authorities and the private sector to transform Guangdong into one of China’s leading centers of economic development and innovation.
The Moldovan ambassador believes that deepening dialogue and cooperation with this dynamic region will create favorable conditions for expanding Moldovan-Chinese relations in the economic, investment, and trade sectors, while opening new opportunities for companies and investors from Moldova.
