Turkish Airlines (THY) has won the “Best Food and Beverage Service in Europe” award presented by the Airline Passenger Experience Association for the fifth time.

According to a statement from Turkish Airlines, the carrier was once again recognized in the "2026 Best Airline Awards," highlighting its commitment to excellence in onboard catering and customer satisfaction, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.

The award was presented during the APEX Awards Ceremony held on June 10 at the “Future Travel Experience EMEA, Ancillary & Retailing” event in Dublin.

The 2026 APEX Awards were determined based on impartial, anonymous, and verified passenger feedback collected in cooperation with TripIt by Concur, one of the world's most widely used travel-planning applications.

During the evaluation process, passengers rated more than one million flights operated by over 600 airlines worldwide using a five-star assessment system.

Travelers evaluated their experiences across five categories: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage offerings, in-flight entertainment, and Wi-Fi.

Turkish Airlines CEO Ahmet Olmuştur said the company was delighted to receive the “Best Food and Beverage Service in Europe” award for the fifth time.

“This award reflects the passion and craftsmanship demonstrated by our teams at every stage, from designing our menus to serving our guests. We thank our passengers for their trust and support, as well as every member of the Turkish Airlines family who helps bring this experience to life,” he said.

APEX Group CEO Joe Leader praised Turkish Airlines for successfully showcasing Türkiye’s rich culture and hospitality through the quality of its onboard catering.

According to Leader, the airline’s food and beverage experience goes beyond meeting passenger expectations by telling a story of care, generosity, cultural heritage, and leadership in aviation.

Turkish Airlines continues to enhance its onboard dining experience by combining the warmth of Turkish hospitality with quality, variety, and authenticity.

Through its “Flying Chef” program, diverse menu options, and continuously evolving catering concepts, the airline offers passengers a distinctive gastronomic experience across its extensive network spanning more than 130 countries on six continents.
