flydubai to Launch Direct Dubai–Skopje Route

flydubai will launch a direct air route between Dubai and Skopje in March, operating three flights per week, North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, announced.

In a Facebook post, Mucunski said the route was officially confirmed during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he met with flydubai Chief Commercial Officer Hamad Obaidalla.

The new connection is expected to create opportunities to strengthen economic and trade ties between North Macedonia and the UAE, attract investment, and further develop tourism and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Mucunski described the planned route as a tangible result of active economic diplomacy and efforts to improve connectivity.

He also highlighted the role of North Macedonia’s Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, noting that its dedicated and continuous work had contributed significantly to achieving this goal.
