World Bank upgrades North Macedonia’s 2026 growth outlook

The World Bank has raised North Macedonia’s economic growth forecast in 2026 to 3.2%, from the previously projected 2.9%.

According to the World Bank’s October report, infrastructure projects are expected to be the main drivers of economic growth, CE Report quotes MIA.

The World Bank forecasts North Macedonia’s economy to grow by 3.0% in both 2027 and 2028.

For the Western Balkans, the World Bank projects economic growth of 3.1% in 2026 and 3.4% in 2027 and 2028.
