Almost 160 dog breeds from 31 countries, including some extremely rare ones such as the Continental Bulldog and the Dansk-Svensk Gardshund, will be in the spotlight at the three international dog shows organized in Targu Mures September 12 - 14 under the 'Dracula' banner: Mures Dog Show, Dracula Dog Show, and Transilvania Dog Show, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.

'Under the aegis of the International Canine Federation, the Mures County Canine Association organizes this year again the large-scale three-component canine event taking place under the sign of 'Dracula' at the Weekend Complex, as well as three national exhibitions and four club exhibitions for terriers, dachshunds, retrievers and water dogs, and Central Asian shepherds. This year's participation excels both by the number of participants (over 1,000 evaluations/day) and by the origin of the competitors, with hopefuls from over 31 European countries, Belize and China having confirmed their participation. Visitors will also be able to admire no less than 157 dog breeds, some of them very rare, such as the Continental Bulldog and the Dansk-Svensk Gardshund,' Lokodi Csaba Zsolt, the president of the event's main organizer - the Mures County Canine Association, announced on Monday in a release.

A prestigious body of all-round judges of worldwide recognition from Estonia, Hungary, Gibraltar, San Marino, Kosovo, Cyprus, Australia and Romania will examine and assess the competitors.

'The owners of the most famous canine publication, the UK-based 'Our dogs', and 'Birbrook Rosettes' are media partners of the event, and will see to the international promotion of the show in the coming years. The award ceremonies are slated to open at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Weekend Complex, at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Medieval Fortress, and will end on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Weekend Complex. We look forward to you joining us at this one-of-a-kind European event with worldwide outreach,' emphasized Lokodi Csaba Zsolt.
