Ukrainian actor, musician killed in war

Musician and actor at the Chernihiv Regional Youth Theater Kostiantyn Slobodeniuk has been killed in the war.

The Department of Culture of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration announced this on Facebook, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

Kostiantyn was a graduate of the Chernihiv Levko Revutskyi Music College and the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.

The department noted that Kostiantyn was known as a participant in numerous concert programs.

The Chernihiv Regional Philharmonic Center for Festivals and Concert Programs expressed condolences to the family and friends of "the talented musician, sopilka player and courageous defender of Ukraine Kostiantyn Slobodeniuk."

"We are proud of Kostiantyn's many years of creative cooperation with the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble 'Siverski Kleinody' and the concert performers' ensemble, and we will remain grateful for his significant contribution to the artistic life of our center," members of the ensemble said.
