The military research vessel Sv. Sv. Kiril I Metodii has successfully completed its third mission to Antarctica and returned home, docking at the Varna Naval Station. The ship was greeted with a military ceremony, attended by key figures including Prof. Christo Pimpirev, Captain Nikolay Danailov, Flotilla Admiral Kalin Kalinov, and other distinguished guests, CE Report quotes BTA

On November 7 of the previous year, the vessel set sail for its third expedition, equipped with a new space laboratory. Under the command of Radko Muevski, the ship carried equipment for Bulgaria's new Antarctic research facility, officially inaugurated in February.
