Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles III, will bring his two children to the United Kingdom next month in a rare family visit, British newspaper The Daily Telegraph reported on Wednesday, according to Reuters.

Harry, who relocated to the United States with his American wife Meghan in 2020, has not brought their children — seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet — to the UK in recent years. However, the family is expected to return next month for an event promoting the Invictus Games, which were founded by the British prince.

A spokesperson for Harry has not yet commented on the report, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.

Last year, the 41-year-old Duke of Sussex lost a legal challenge against the British government over his security arrangements. Following the ruling, Prince Harry said he could no longer safely bring his family to the United Kingdom.

His decision to step back from royal duties, along with a highly publicized dispute with both his father and older brother, Prince William, has resulted in King Charles having only limited opportunities to see his grandchildren.

The children last visited the UK in 2022 during celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne.

In September 2025, Harry met King Charles in their first face-to-face meeting after a 20-month gap, a move widely viewed as an initial step toward repairing relations following public criticism by Harry and Meghan of members of the Royal Family and the monarchy itself.

Despite that meeting, relations between Harry and the Windsor family remain strained, particularly with his older brother, Prince William.

“Harry says he will come here before the end of the year with the children and intends to meet his father,” a source told The Daily Telegraph.

“He has wanted the children to get to know their grandfather, especially after last year’s meeting in London. While there have been deep-rooted trust issues surrounding Harry, there is now a feeling that all sides want peace,” the source added.

Prince Harry was already scheduled to visit the UK next month to promote the 2027 Invictus Games, the international sporting event he founded in 2014 to support wounded and injured military personnel. The next edition of the games will be held in Birmingham, central England.

The British government withdrew Prince Harry’s automatic police protection in the UK after he stepped down as a working member of the Royal Family in 2020.

During visits last year, a known stalker reportedly approached him on two occasions. According to The Telegraph, authorities have assured that appropriate security measures will be in place for his upcoming visit.
