Prince Harry arrived in Kyiv on a surprise visit and paid tribute to Ukraine for “bravely and successfully” defending Europe against Russia, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

“It’s good to be back in Ukraine – a country bravely and successfully defending Europe’s eastern flank. It matters that we don’t lose sight of the significance of that.” Prince Harry said in a comment to the publication.

Prince Harry is expected to participate in the Kyiv Security Forum. The Duke of Sussex expressed hope that he could remind people around the world of what Ukraine is facing.

This is Harry’s third visit to Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

The prince also plans to visit the deminers of the HALO Trust charity, which was supported by his late mother, Princess Diana. In addition, Harry, who spent 10 years in the British Army, will meet with Ukrainian participants in his Invictus Games Foundation, which helps wounded veterans recover through sports.

“I’m here to get on the ground, to re-connect and listen, to remind people back home and around the world what Ukraine is up against and to support the people and partners doing extraordinary work every hour of every day in incredibly tough conditions,” Prince Harry said.

His trip to Ukraine follows a four-day visit to Australia last week with his wife, Meghan.

As reported, Prince Harry last visited Kyiv in September 2025, when he came to the site of one of the Russian attacks.
