Athens promotes “Fish from Greece” brand at Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona
The Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organisation (HAPO) participated in Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona, the largest international seafood trade show.
The HAPO booth attracted industry professionals, business partners and visitors from around the world, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
Discussions focused on the current challenges facing the sector, as well as its significant growth prospects, with particular emphasis on the need to remove structural barriers affecting its competitiveness and sustainability.
According to a related announcement, HAPO's presence served as a platform for meaningful networking among its members, with a series of contacts and meetings paving the way for new commercial partnerships, while existing relationships with international partners were also strengthened.
The daily live cooking events at the HAPO booth attracted significant interest.
Recipes featuring sea bream, sea bass, red mullet, and red seabream showcased the quality, freshness, and high nutritional value of Greek farmed fish bearing the "Fish from Greece" label, reinforcing the connection between Greek aquaculture and modern gastronomy.
