Canadian pop star Justin Bieber arrived in Seoul on Friday for a surprise visit, marking his first trip to South Korea in approximately 13 years, Yonhap News Agency reported.

Bieber announced his arrival on social media, sharing a photograph taken while traveling through the South Korean capital alongside the caption, “Made it to Seoul.”

According to local media reports, the 32-year-old singer arrived at Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, early Friday morning, accompanied by his wife, model Hailey Bieber, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.

Bieber last performed in South Korea in 2013, although he made a virtual appearance in late 2021 at the Weverse Con Festival, a music event organized by K-pop entertainment company Hybe.

While the exact purpose of his visit was not immediately disclosed, the trip coincides with the opening of a temporary store in Seoul for Skylrk, the fashion brand he co-founded.

The singer later shared photographs from the store on his social media accounts.

The Skylrk pop-up store opened on Thursday in Seongsu, one of Seoul’s trendiest neighborhoods, and is scheduled to remain open until Sunday, Yonhap reported.

The visit marks Bieber’s return to South Korea more than a decade after his last concert in the country.
