BMW recalls hundreds of thousands of vehicles
German automotive giant BMW has recalled hundreds of thousands of vehicles worldwide due to a fire risk that could be caused by the engine starter motor.
The measure affects 16 models manufactured between July 2020 and July 2022, according to the French news agency AFP, CE Report informs.
"BMW AG recommends that after starting the engine - especially after remote engine start - the vehicle should not be left unattended with the engine running," the carmaker said in a statement.
