The Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, visited Glamping Albania Adventure, a campsite along the Vjosa River that combines the camping experience with comfort, CE Report quotes ATA.

“Glamping Albania Adventure is a new blossom that has sprung up on the banks of the Vjosa – a model that blends the camping experience with comfort, offering a fully ecological experience, powered 100% by clean energy and in full harmony with nature. It further promotes the sustainable development of the Përmet area through experiences in water sports, ecotourism, and agritourism, serving as a jewel for promoting local economies,” Kumbaro wrote on social media.

“It’s fantastic how a personal sports adventure years ago to go rafting has led us today to a structure like this, with a space like this, on the banks of the Vjosa. It offers accommodation capacity of around 80 beds for all age groups – for families and children – and it will go hand in hand with nature protection, landscape preservation, and the development of a supporting economy such as horticulture,” Kumbaro emphasized.

Kumbaro added that when we talk about sustainable development, it is not impossible even in a protected area.

“This is a concept of how you can develop tourism that is friendly to the environment and biodiversity – and even grow to love nature more,” said Minister Kumbaro.
