Elizabeth Banks to star in revived "The Magic School Bus" adaptation
The live-action film adaptation of the popular series The Magic School Bus, starring Elizabeth Banks as Ms. Frizzle, is gaining momentum again after six years of development.
Legendary Entertainment has acquired the rights to the project from Universal Pictures, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
Universal had originally secured the rights to the adaptation in June 2020.
Meanwhile, Rob Letterman has been selected to write the screenplay and direct the film.
