Beloved Canadian musician Bryan Adams will perform tonight at the Auditorium Portorož in Slovenia.

He will present his fully acoustic Bare Bones concert. Accompanied only by a pianist, the legendary rocker will create an intimate atmosphere with his guitar and revive his greatest hits, organizers announced, CE Report quotes STA.

During the two-hour performance, Adams will play some of his biggest songs, including Run to You, Heaven, Summer of '69, and (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, in acoustic arrangements. Through the Bare Bones concept, the musician aims to create the feeling that he is performing personally for each audience member in their own living room. Organizers noted that both critics and fans abroad have warmly received and praised these fresh interpretations of Adams’ classic hits.

For nearly four decades, Bryan Adams has remained at the top of the global music scene and helped define anthem-style rock music. “Whenever someone pays me a compliment, I tell them that rock and roll keeps you young. Playing music and traveling the world is not a bad profession if you can do it,” Adams said, describing the source of his creative drive.

Throughout his long career, the singer and guitarist has topped music charts in more than 40 countries. He has won a Grammy Award, American Music Awards, received three Academy Award nominations and five Golden Globe nominations, and holds the title of Companion of the Order of Canada.

On stage in Portorož tonight, the Canadian artist will be accompanied solely by fellow Canadian pianist Gary Breit. Breit has worked with Adams since 2002 and is the only accompanying musician on the Bare Bones tour, organizers added.
