Bulgaria awaits trilogue outcome before considering next steps - EXCLUSIVE

Bulgaria has reiterated its clear and consistent position on the issue under discussion within the European Union framework.

This was stated by Mr. Gueorgui Liptchev, Secretary General of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria, in an exclusive interview with CE Report.

According to Liptchev, Bulgaria's stance has already been presented through the relevant EU institutions and mechanisms, including during the recent meeting of the Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (Health) held in Luxembourg. He emphasized that the country's considerations have been clearly communicated through the formal decision-making process at the European level.

Addressing Bulgaria's future approach, Liptchev noted that the government will continue to act in line with the national position already conveyed within the Council. He explained that any subsequent steps will depend on the progress of the trilogue negotiations with the European Parliament and the outcome of those discussions.

The comments underline Bulgaria's commitment to maintaining a coordinated and institutionally grounded position while closely following developments in the ongoing EU legislative process.
