Mostar Summer 2026 wraps up with spectacular dance finale

The international cultural event "Mostar Summer 2026" officially closed at Musala Square, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the program "Let's Dance Through Time," which brought together numerous residents and visitors through a blend of folklore and contemporary dance.

The event was officially closed by the Minister of Finance of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Adil Šuta, who expressed his satisfaction with the successful implementation of this year's program, CE Report informs via the Mostar Summer's official Facebook page.

"I hope you enjoyed this year's Mostar Summer program. I recently visited Bratislava and had the opportunity to attend its summer festival. I can proudly say that Mostar Summer is a higher-quality event than the one I attended there, even though it takes place in a national capital with significantly greater resources. We owe this to the dedicated people who have worked tirelessly and responsibly to provide the citizens and visitors of Mostar with a rich and diverse cultural program," Šuta said.

He extended special thanks to the event coordinator, Nataša Jekić, praising her enthusiasm, dedication, and careful coordination of all festival activities. He emphasized that the energy, commitment, and passion of the people behind the organization are the key to the festival's success.

"I believe that only people with energy, dedication, knowledge, and determination can create something like this. Mostar needs positive initiatives, as do the whole of Herzegovina and our canton. The Government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton has once again supported Mostar Summer, along with other important cultural events, because we believe culture is an essential part of our community's development. I hope we will continue this successful cooperation next year as well," Šuta concluded.

The audience enjoyed performances by the Mo-Stars Dance Studio, KUD Bijelo Polje, KUD Blagaj, KUD Podveležje, KUD Jablanica, and KUD Nakem from Bursa, Türkiye, whose performances uniquely showcased the richness of traditional cultural heritage alongside contemporary dance.
