Albania to hold cultural activities in Serbia
For the first time, the Albanian National Council in Serbia, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of Albania and with the assistance of the Embassy of Albania in Belgrade, is organizing a series of cultural, artistic and identity activities in Presevo, Bujanovac, Medveđa and Sandžak, on occasion of the November red-letter days.
Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports Blendi Gonxhja emphasized that this initiative comes immediately after the signing of the memorandum of cooperation in September, as well as after the official visits paid this year to the Presevo Valley, which were carried out under the auspices of Prime Minister Edi Rama, CE Report quotes ATA.
During these visits, Gonxhja underlined in a post in social networks:
“There was deepened dialogue with the Albanian community, local institutions, and the young people who keep our language, culture and identity alive in the valley.”
Gonxhja emphasized that the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports remains fully committed to strengthening cooperation with Presheva and the entire Valley, supporting cultural initiatives, the book fair, young artists, community activities and any effort that preserves, develops and promotes the Albanian identity.
According to the calendar, the cultural and patriotic activities will be held from November 28 to December 10.
