Emma Watson opens up on life after Hermione
Emma Watson spoke about her decision to put her acting career on hold to focus on her academic studies in a new interview with Hollywood Authentic.
The star, best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, has not appeared in any production since December 2018, when she completed filming Greta Gerwig’s Little Women, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
She stated that she now feels “perhaps happier and healthier than ever.”
“The majority of the work is not the filming itself but promoting and selling the project, this piece of art. That balance can be significantly disrupted,” Watson said.
“I’ll be honest and say: I don’t miss selling things. That was mentally exhausting for me. But I do miss using my skills and the art itself. I just realized I was doing very little of what I truly enjoyed,” she added.
