Luchezar Boyadjiev's Urban Daydreaming exhibition opened on Monday in the art gallery of the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Centre in Skopje, CE Report quotes BTA.

Urban Daydreaming represents two of his most significant series: Utopian Solutions for Dystopian Cities (2007-2024) and Public Scale, Private Dimension (2022-2024). Within a single space, they come together as a shared field of ideas about the urban environment, monuments and the role of art in society.

The ironic interplay between the two series creates a new form of urban daydreaming. The exhibition transforms utopias and monuments into poetic statements of "conceptualism with a human face", inviting visitors to engage in an emotional and intellectual dialogue about the future of cities. Boyadjiev's interests lie in ecological issues, urban utopias and the role of the artist and art in the life of the world, according to the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Centre.
