Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski has been ranked 731–740 in the QS World University Rankings 2026, the university’s press office announced Thursday, CE Report quotes BTA

SU has appeared in the global rankings since 2013. This year, 8,467 universities from 106 countries applied for evaluation, with 1,501 making the final list—up from 5,663 applicants in 2024.

The ranking assesses universities based on academic and employer reputation, faculty citations, student-to-faculty ratio, internationalization, sustainability, and graduate employability—where SU earned its highest score.
