Posters, books, and postcards signed by the renowned Bulgarian-born artist Christo Javacheff are on display at the National Library in celebration of his 90th anniversary. The exhibition, which opened Friday, features 17 items, including personal donations from Christo himself. Materials are in both Bulgarian and English, CE Report quotes BTA

A notable item, not on display due to space, is a rare collector’s book-album designed and signed by Christo, showing his work up to 2010. The National Library owns copy No. 278 of the limited edition of 1,500.

Christo, a graduate of the Sofia Academy of Art, gained global fame for his monumental art installations, including wrapping Berlin's Reichstag and Paris’s Pont Neuf. His large-scale works also appeared in New York’s Central Park and California’s landscape.
