Freedom/Libertate grabs trophy for Best feature film at GOPO Awards Gala 2024

The movie Freedom/Libertate directed by Tudor Giurgiu has won the GOPO Trophy for the best feature film at the GOPO Awards Gala, which took place on Monday evening at the Ion Caramitru Hall of the I. L. Caragiale National Theatre in Bucharest, CE Report quotes Agerpres

The minister of Culture, Raluca Turcan, who handed over the award said that she thanks everybody "for what you do for all of us as a nation", adding that she wants to "congratulate you for bringing together, to celebrate, films that attract the public, but also signature, auteur films, noted by critics", meaning that "together you are a voice of Romanian cinema".
