North Macedonia issues alert to citizens amid wildfires in Greece

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia is closely monitoring the current situation with the wildfires in Greece through its diplomatic and consular mission in Thessaloniki and in communication with the relevant Greek authorities.

The Ministry appeals to Macedonian citizens who are in the affected areas and require assistance to contact the Ministry’s emergency telephone number at +389 75 268 736, or via email at [email protected], CE Report informs via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia's official website.

They can also contact the emergency telephone numbers of the Consulate of the Republic of North Macedonia in Thessaloniki at +30 694 526 8068 and +389 71 323 001.

At the same time, Macedonian citizens in the affected areas are reminded to closely monitor the situation and follow the instructions and guidance of the relevant local authorities.
