James Cameron to hold live event in Yerevan

Filmmaker James Cameron will visit Armenia in November, where he is expected to meet representatives of the film industry and fans, Yerevan Municipality announced, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.

Cameron, known for directing films including “The Terminator” (1984), “Aliens” (1986), “Titanic” (1997) and “Avatar” (2009), will speak to audiences in Yerevan about cinema, his creative journey, groundbreaking ideas and innovation.

The event, titled “In Conversation with James Cameron: A Cinema Legend, Live in Yerevan,” will take place on November 23, 2026, at 7 pm at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan.

Tickets will go on sale on September 25.

“This is a unique opportunity to meet one of the most influential filmmakers of our time, hear his stories from the world of cinema and discover the creative thinking behind some of the most significant projects in global filmmaking,” Yerevan Municipality said.

Cameron is one of Hollywood’s best-known directors and producers. His filmography includes “The Terminator,” “Aliens,” “Titanic” and the “Avatar” film series.
