Moldovan citizens in Israel benefit from visa extension
Visas issued by the authorities in Israel that expire between April 1 and May 31, 2026, will be automatically extended by three months.
The announcement was made today by the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Israel, Alexandr Roitman, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
The official stated that the instructions were issued by the Israel Population and Immigration Authority. The measure applies to foreign citizens who are in Israel at the time the decision was published.
It covers several visa categories, including:
B1 – work visa,
B2 – tourist visa,
B4 – volunteer visa,
A1 – temporary residence visa,
A2 – student visa (excluding agricultural trainees),
A3 – clergy visa,
A4 – dependent visa,
A5 – temporary residence visa,
as well as entry visas, permits issued for family reunification, and humanitarian purposes.
The extension is automatic, and there is no need to visit offices of the Ministry of Interior Israel.
According to data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, approximately 15,000 Moldovan citizens currently live in Israel.
