British Airways cancels Middle East flights
The British airline British Airways has cancelled its flights to several destinations in the Middle East this month due to rising tensions in the region.
In a statement, the company said it had made changes to its flight schedule because of ongoing “uncertainty and airspace instability” in the Middle East.
According to the announcement, all flights to and from Amman, Manama, Doha, Dubai, and Tel Aviv scheduled for this month have been cancelled. It was also announced that flights to and from Abu Dhabi will not operate until later this year, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.
“We are continuously reviewing the situation and remain in contact with our customers, offering them a range of options,” the statement said.
