Albanian cuisine, raki impress foreign tourists in Lezha
Albania's Lezha continues to be one of the most popular destinations for both domestic and foreign tourists, even after the end of the tourist season.
The mayor of the city, Pjerin Ndreu, shared on social media images of the many groups of tourists filling the city center as well as Lezha’s historical and cultural sites, CE Report quotes ATA.
One of the main attractions remains Shengjin, which continues to draw visitors from around the world even after the tourist season has ended. A group of 45 Polish judges and their staff are spending their vacation in the area, enjoying the beautiful coast and Lezha’s natural and cultural heritage.
Mayor Ndreu noted that during a meeting with the Polish group, they expressed their delight with traditional Albanian cuisine and, as he said, “Albanian raki left an extraordinary impression.”
This is further proof that Shengjin and Lezha remain excellent year-round destinations, offering opportunities for relaxation, leisure, and a deeper understanding of Albanian history and culture.
