Judo coach delivers message to Kosovo’s political scene
Judo coach Driton Kuka used his birthday to deliver a message to Kosovo’s political scene, calling on politicians to put their grudges aside and reflect on the need for unity.
In a Facebook post, Kuka said the country needs human and political unity more than ever, while dedicating his birthday wish this time specifically to politicians, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
“Today is my birthday. The years keep moving forward! We live to work and take action! Our country needs human and political unity more than ever. On your birthday, you think of different wishes, and this time my wish is addressed to the people in politics! Put your grudges aside and reflect,” Kuka wrote.
The message from the successful judo coach comes at a time when Kosovo’s political scene continues to face clashes and divisions, with Kuka choosing his birthday to call for them to be overcome.
