UEFA confirms European qualifiers schedule for North Macedonian clubs

The European Football Federation (UEFA) announced the match schedule for the first qualifying round of the European club competitions.

Vardar from North Macedonia will compete in the Champions League this season, while Sileks and Shkendija will participate in the Conference League, CE Report quotes MIA.

Vardar has been drawn against Finnish side KuPS in the opening qualifying round of the elite competition. The first leg in Skopje is scheduled for July 7 at the “Todor Proeski” Arena, starting at 19:00.

The return leg in Kuopio will be played on July 14, starting at 17:00 local time (North Macedonia time).

Sileks, the Macedonian Cup winner, will face Belarusian side Dinamo Minsk in the first qualifying round of the Conference League. The first match will be played on neutral ground in the Bulgarian city of Stara Zagora on July 9 at 19:00.

The return leg is scheduled for July 16 at the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) Training Center in Skopje, starting at 20:00.

Tetovo-based Shkendija will begin their Conference League campaign away against Europa from Gibraltar on July 9 at 19:30, while the return leg is set for July 16 at the “Todor Proeski” Arena in Skopje, starting at 20:00.
