Kosovo to compete with largest-ever delegation at Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games
Kosovo is preparing for another historic appearance at the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games, where it will participate with the largest delegation in its history at the major international event.
A total of 163 Kosovo athletes — 87 men and 76 women — will compete in 21 sports in Taranto. For the first time, Kosovo will also participate in four team sports: football, volleyball, handball and 3x3 basketball, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games will take place in Italy from August 21 to September 3. For Kosovo, this edition is expected to be one of the most important sporting events of the year, not only because of the large number of competitors but also because of its participation across 21 sports.
