Harry Kane signs new Bayern Munich contract
Harry Kane has signed a new contract with Bayern Munich, committing his future to the German giants until 2029.
The England striker, the latest Ballon d'Or winner, had entered the final 12 months of his previous contract but has now decided to continue his journey at the Allianz Arena, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
"I feel at home at FC Bayern. I love the club, the fans and the city of Munich. We have a fantastic team and a fantastic manager in Vincent Kompany," Kane said.
The 33-year-old is enjoying an extraordinary spell at Bayern. He has scored 156 goals in 161 appearances, including 12 goals this season alone.
Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund spoke highly of the English striker following the contract extension.
"We are absolutely delighted. With Harry Kane, we have the Ballon d'Or winner on the pitch, a leader, a team player and the most complete striker in the world," Freund said.
Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham in 2023 and has since won several trophies. His new contract will keep him in Munich until at least shortly before his 36th birthday.
