Trepy’s condition improves after near-drowning
The condition of Cagliari striker Yael Trepy is improving after he was admitted to the intensive care unit at Santissima Annunziata Hospital in Sassari following a near-drowning incident in a swimming pool last Sunday.
The latest medical bulletin from the Sassari University Hospital confirms that, after approximately 48 hours in an induced coma, the footballer regained consciousness and was extubated, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Upon waking, the patient showed a full recovery of consciousness, the statement said. He is alert and cooperative and currently shows no evident neurological deficits. His respiratory and hemodynamic conditions are stable.
