The 57th edition of the Golden Spin of Zagreb, an international figure skating competition, will take place at Zagreb's Velesajam ice rink from 3 to 6 December.

This year's edition features the highest number of registered participants to date, with Zagreb hosting athletes from over 40 countries, including last year's winners returning to defend their titles, CE Report quotes HINA.

Competitions in the ladies', men's, and pairs' categories will run from 11 a.m. until the evening, and the winners' gala will be held on 6 December at 8:30 p.m. in the Zibel Ice Hall in Sisak.

Entry to all competition events will be free, allowing a wider audience to enjoy figure skating and giving as many spectators as possible the chance to experience the sport.

"This year's Golden Spin is the strongest and largest in its history. The participation of representatives from over 40 countries confirms that the Zagreb competition has become an unmissable international event," said Jakov Kitarović, President of the Croatian Skating Federation.
