Tunisia sacks head coach after Sweden defeat
Tunisia has dismissed head coach Sabri Lamouchi following the team's heavy 5–1 defeat to Sweden at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has appointed Frenchman Hervé Renard as his replacement.
The decision was announced today by the Tunisian Football Federation during a live national television broadcast, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Renard famously guided Saudi Arabia to a shock victory over eventual champions Argentina at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Since then, he has been in charge of the French women's national team.
