Tsankov completes sixth oceans seven marathon
Bulgarian athlete Tsanko Tsankov swam across the English Channel on Sunday, as reported on his Facebook page. Tsankov started from Dover on the British coast and needed 9 hours and 21 minutes to reach Cap Gris-Nez in France.
The event was run under the auspices of the Channel Swimming Piloting Federation, CE Report quotes BTA.
Tsankov shared that he was extremely happy and proud with his achievement, as this was his sixth completed swimming marathon of the Oceans Seven. He has now swum across the English Channel, North Channel, Kaiwi Channel, Cook Strait, Catalina Channel, and the Strait of Gibraltar. The only one remaining is the Tsugaru Strait between Honshu and Hokkaido, Japan.
