Albanian national team defender Marash Kumbulla has become a focal point of the summer transfer market.

Kumbulla, who played last season on loan at Espanyol in the Spanish league, is owned by the Italian club Roma, CE Report quotes ATA.

According to Italian media, the Giallorossi are forced to sell immediately as they need to raise 10 million euros to comply with financial balance requirements.

“Corriere dello Sport” reveals that Roma has compiled a quick list of players for sale, and Marash Kumbulla’s name is among them.

The Albanian center-back may leave, but his transfer value is a significant obstacle, as Roma does not intend to sell a player who cost them about 26.5 million euros four years ago at a loss.

Espanyol remains an option for Kumbulla, as the Spanish club’s management is very satisfied with his performance, but there is no talk, at least for now, of investing cash to buy Kumbulla. They intend to keep him at the club for at least one more year on loan.
