Maribor hosts European Athletics Team Championships

Maribor is hosting the European Athletics Team Championships for the second and third divisions from June 24 to 29.

The event brings together around 1,500 athletes and officials from over 30 countries to Slovenia’s second-largest city, CE Report quotes STA.

Slovenia aims to secure a top-three finish in the second division.

Achieving this would promote the country to the elite first league.
