
Zelenskyy Sends Delegation to Istanbul
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Thursday that a delegation led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov is heading to Istanbul for negotiations with Russian officials, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency
The move follows Zelenskyy's meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara and reflects growing diplomatic efforts to end the war. Türkiye is positioning itself as a key mediator, with Istanbul once again serving as a venue for Ukrainian-Russian dialogue.
The Ukrainian delegation will stay in Istanbul until May 16.
