U.S. President Donald Trump expressed optimism on Friday about the possibility of brokering a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, saying there is a "really good chance" of reaching an agreement.

The Kremlin described recent talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg as “extremely useful.”
