The elected MP of Vetëvenodje, Hekuran Murati, commented on the latest political developments after the failure of the constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly. Murati said on Wednesday that "we are in untrodden territory," when asked about the constitution of the Assembly, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The acting Minister of Finance, during a press conference after the meeting of the acting Government, said that the goal of Vetëvendosje has been stated that before the formation of the new government "there is a deadlock that occurred yesterday in the parliament."

"You witnessed what happened yesterday. This means a refusal to accept the certified results. How it goes forward remains to be seen. Dehari has warned that he will address the president. We are in uncharted territory, because such a thing has not happened before. Our goal is to ensure that the country has its own institutions," he said.

Murat was also asked today with whom he will form the new government, Vetëvendosje.

"The procedures are ongoing. Before we get to the government vote, there is this impasse that occurred yesterday. If the swearing-in of the deputies is possible," said Murati.

The report of the temporary committee for verifying the quorum and mandates of elected deputies was not passed on Tuesday, when the Assembly was expected to be constituted. This also caused the failure of the constitutive session of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, whose proceedings were suspended.
