On 13 March, MPs will hold a plenary meeting to discuss several important legislative proposals. The agenda includes the second reading of eight bills, covering topics such as the creation of a database for delinquent economic agents, regulations for the General Inspectorate of Carabineers, and measures to prevent discrimination against customers of retail and online services. Another key proposal seeks to ensure that individuals with severe childhood disabilities and children with disabilities receive both disability benefits and survivor pensions, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Additionally, lawmakers will consider a draft requiring financial guarantees for license applicants connecting power plants over 200 kW.

The parliament is also expected to ratify several agreements, including a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations and an agreement with UNOPS for constructing a new penitentiary in Chisinau.

In the first reading, MPs will examine a draft on electronic communications to align national legislation with EU standards and introduce affordable roaming rates within the EU. Other discussions will focus on evaluating judges and prosecutors and revising inheritance laws.
